What are the differences between an Individual and a Team license?
An Individual license is owned by a single person and may only be used by that person. It includes 5 activations, allowing the owner to use Pryzmera on up to 5 computers.
A Team license is owned by a single person or organization and allows multiple users (one per seat) to use Pryzmera at the same time. Each seat can be reassigned to a different user at any time. It includes 3 activations per seat, allowing each user to use Pryzmera on up to 3 computers.
Can Pryzmera be used for commercial purposes?
Yes, all licenses can be used for both personal and commercial purposes.
What is a perpetual license?
A perpetual license allows you to use specific versions of Pryzmera indefinitely.
When you purchase a license, it is valid for all versions available at the time of purchase, as well as for any version released during the following year.
After activating Pryzmera, you will be able to install, use, uninstall, or switch between those versions on the same computer, without requiring additional activations.
What is an activation?
Activation is the process that makes Pryzmera active and usable on a specific computer by verifying that your license is valid. Once the trial period ends, activation will be required to continue using Pryzmera.
Activating Pryzmera on one computer counts as one activation.
Repeated activations of the same computer with the same license key do not count as additional activations, and generally do not have any effect.
Each license includes a set number of activations, which can be used to activate Pryzmera on multiple computers.
How is activation performed?
Open Pryzmera, then open the Activation panel from the menu in the top-left corner.
If your computer is connected to the internet, simply enter your license key and press Activate.
If you are trying to activate a computer without internet connection, see Offline Activation.
How long does an activation last?
Forever.
After Pryzmera is successfully activated on a computer, it can be used on that computer indefinitely, completely offline.
However, if that computer is changed in a major way (for example, by reinstalling the operating system or formatting the computer), it may need to be activated again, which will count as an additional activation.
Can an already activated computer be activated with a different license?
Yes. If you have a license different than the one you originally used to activate Pryzmera (for example, if you got a new license for a newer version of Pryzmera), you can activate Pryzmera with the new license, and the "best" license for your computer will be used.
The "best" license is the license that supports newer versions of Pryzmera. This also means that you cannot accidentally deactivate Pryzmera by using an older license.
Can an already activated computer be deactivated?
No. Activations are permanent and cannot be deactivated.
Can an activation be transferred from one computer to another?
No. Activations are permanent and tied to a specific computer, and therefore cannot be transferred between computers.
